I found this unbelievably sweet sculpture in one small children's playground on Krešimir's square in the east part of the Lower town. It was made by the sculptor Emil Bohutinsky in 1939. I was really mollified to see it standing there, that little boy and his teddy bear!

aww how sweet! (I wonder what the story behind the sculpture is.)
ReplyDeleteI would also like to know the story behind it. Maybe it is the sculptor himself, and maybe it is his son... :)
ReplyDeleteSculptor is his son Dragutin.
ReplyDeleteThe sculptor's career was helped by a generous businessman. He made this of the man's son as a gift
