Croatian Parliament

I was just passing by the St. Mark's Church on the Upper town the other day and decided to show you this building. It's the Croatian Parliament built in 1910. in Neo-Classical style. Although it looks quite small and modest, this building is rather a big complex that's occupying the large space that used to be a residential block.

  1. You are of course, speaking of the Sabor. To the untrained eye this building looks big, but it is actually very tiny for a country the size of Croatia (about 4.5 million). The state Capitol here in Idaho is about 10 times larger physically and we only have 1.5 million is one state of the 50 of the U.S. Of course, perhaps Croats get more work done in a smaller space:)
