This Chapel of the Crucified Christ is a part of the Saint Francis of Assisi Church at the Zagreb Kaptol. The church is placed not far away from Zagreb Cathedral and was renovated after the big Zagreb earthquake in 1880. - and this chapel also dates from that time. It was meant to be an open public chapel but due to the devastation this big fence was put in front to protect it. The Franciscans Order has a strong tradition in Croatia and was and still are one of the most loved monastic order in Zagreb.
