This is a typical street lamp, one of many on the Zagreb Upper town. It dates from the 19. century and today all of them still work on petroleum. There is even a certain gentleman that has a job to light all the lamps on the Upper town. It is definitely one of the most romantic jobs I've ever seen. With the light from this old street lamps everything looks like in the old days.
